Tarot Reading
Consultation · 45 minutes · $95
A structured way to look at a question you have been circling — reflective, grounded, and never read as a warning.
What happens in a reflective tarot reading?
In a reflective reading, the cards are used as structured imagery to examine a question rather than to forecast events. The reader lays a spread, interprets the images in relation to your situation, and works with you on what they surface. No outcome is predicted and no card is read as a warning.
Tarot is a mirror with a vocabulary. It shows you the question more clearly than it shows you the answer.
Questions
Common questions
Can tarot predict the future?
I do not read it that way. I use tarot as a reflective tool — a structured set of images that helps surface what you already sense, what you are avoiding, and what a situation may be asking. If you want prediction, a chart reading is the more honest instrument, and even then it reads seasons rather than events.
Is a tarot reading frightening?
Not in my practice. Cards that look alarming — the Tower, Death, the Ten of Swords — are about endings, change and release, and I read them that way. No one has ever left a session with me having been told something bad is coming.
How is this different from an astrology reading?
An astrology reading works from your birth chart and covers long arcs of time. A tarot reading works from a single question in the present moment. Many clients use tarot between chart readings, when something specific comes up.
Should I book tarot or a chart reading first?
If your question is about a specific situation right now, tarot. If it is about patterns, timing, or something that has repeated across your life, start with the chart. If you are not sure, book a personal consultation and I will point you to the right one.
How often should I get a reading?
Less often than people expect. Returning to tarot weekly for the same question tends to produce noise rather than clarity. When a real question arrives, a reading helps. Between those, it usually does not.
Bring the question you keep circling
Tarot is at its best on a question you have already been turning over, not on a blank slate.
