Six traditions explained

These are not trends. They are long-standing systems of observation — of pattern, timing, orientation and natural cycle — developed over centuries and still specific enough to be useful. Here is what each one studies, and what it can honestly do.

Are Vedic astrology, Vastu and Feng Shui sciences?

They are traditional applied systems, not empirical sciences, and Spira & Sage describes them that way. Each is a structured body of observation — of celestial cycles, orientation, proportion and natural rhythm — used to interpret conditions and recommend practical adjustment. None claims laboratory proof.

What each studies

The six, plainly

Vedic astrology (Jyotish)

The birth chart: planetary positions, the Moon's nakshatra, house placements, and dasha periods. Read for tendency, recurring pattern and the character of a season — never for fixed events.

Auspicious timing (Muhurta)

The sky at a proposed moment of beginning: lunar day, nakshatra, weekday and rising sign. Read to judge whether conditions lean toward what is being started.

Vastu Shastra

Orientation, proportion and placement in buildings. How direction, light, weight and room function shape the experience of living somewhere.

Feng Shui

The movement of energy through a space: entry, sightline, flow, command position and the five elements, mapped through the bagua.

Numerology

Names, dates and cycles as a symbolic framework. Most useful for naming decisions and for understanding repeating personal cycles.

Tarot

Structured imagery used reflectively. A way of examining one present question — not a forecast, and never read as a warning.

The shared principle

Work with the patterns

Recognise the pattern. Understand your options. Decide how to respond.Read the full explanation

Whether the work is calculating a Vastu grid to align a home's cardinal axes, mapping planetary transits against a natal chart, analysing numerical patterns in a name, or electing an hour to begin something, the underlying move is the same: find the pattern, then arrange yourself in relation to it.

That is also the limit of the claim. These systems read conditions. They do not control them, and no honest practitioner will tell you otherwise.

Clear guidance, honest limits

We describe these as ancient applied traditions and as pattern-based guidance. We talk about observation, orientation, timing, spatial harmony and natural cycles.

We do not claim modern scientific proof, guaranteed outcomes, diagnosis, cure, or certainty about the future. Where a claim of that kind would be convenient, we leave it out.
